Frequently Asked Questions

Luxury epoxy flooring

  • A luxury epoxy floor will take 5-7 days to prep, design, pour, and properly dry before you can start moving furniture or, in the case of a garage, your cars back onto the surface.

  • Each step of creating your one-of-a-kind epoxy floor not only takes time to DO, but also to DRY. Think of this process as creating a set of “layers” - and each layer has to properly dry before we can move on to the next step. If we do not allow for proper drying, the integrity of the entire project is compromised. There are no shortcuts.

  • If you start walking, moving furniture, or dragging things onto the floor before it’s totally dry - that activity may result in damaging the appearance of the top coat.

  • Yes. If we do not already have a sample board in the color scheme you would like to see, we can create one. There is a $120 cost for the sample board, which will be credited back to you if you decide to move forward with the project.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals of any kind on your epoxy floor. Swiffer to get the top layer of dust off and then steam clean with plain water. DO NOT put vinegar in the water. DO NOT put bleach or any other chemicals on your floor. Even though the floor is tough, clean it with a “gentle” touch.

  • NO. Your new floor is strong and durable and easy to clean and care for. But it is not totally indestructible. Harsh chemicals, heavy equipment being dragged or sharp edges being dropped or dragged - these are things that can damage the floor.
